for joining us on our tasty journey!
We strive to offer sustainable, ethically sourced, traceable, Fair Trade, and organic ingredients. We utilize Callebaut and Cacao Barry products along with their Cocoa Horizons initiative. We are proud supporters of local and Canadian businesses.
Our wish is to offer a balance of worlds. Melding the traditional with the new while still respecting the ingredient.
To honour family members, friends, and everyone affected, a portion of our proceeds are donated to various societies that support 60's Scoop, MMIWg2s, and Residential School organizations.

A proud Saulteaux Ojibwe kwe from White Bear First Nation in Saskatchewan, Chef Tammy is a Certified, Red Seal Journeyman Pastry Chef and Baker.
A product of the 60's Scoop, she was adopted into a wonderful Finnish family in Ontario. She jokingly refers to herself as a Finndian. She has worked as an Executive Pastry Chef in some of the best restaurants, resorts, hotels, and bakeries throughout Canada. Chef Tammy had a vision for her future. She wanted to have full creative control and to explore her Indigenous identity. Opening Raven Rising was a natural progression in her career. Her wish is to learn, but also to share knowledge and understanding of Indigenous ingredients and the First Peoples on a Global scale. Creating unique flavour profiles and products by utilizing Indigenous ingredients, Raven Rising represents a story, a journey into her own lost background, and celebrates her findings along the way.
